Grown Up Mac and Cheese with Smoked Gouda and Bacon
Ingredients
  • subheading: For The Smoked Gouda Cheese Sauce:
  • 4 tablespoons salted butter
  • 4 tablespoons all purpose flour
  • 4 cups of whole milk (or 2%)
  • 8 oz. smoked gouda cheese, shredded
  • 8 oz. sharp white cheddar (smoked if you can find it), shredded
  • 8 oz. jack cheese, shredded
  • 1 ½ teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • subheading: For The Mac & Cheese:
  • 24 oz package of large shell pasta cooked al dente
  • Full batch of smoked gouda cheese sauce
  • 1 cup cooked bacon crumbles
  • 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • Paprika to sprinkle on top (to taste)
